ByteScout BarCode Generator is a lightweight software solution designed to help you easily create various types of barcodes.

Ease of use and accessibility

After the installation the main window is displayed and it sports a clean interface, enabling you to select the type of barcode you want to create.

The application supports a wide variety of barcodes, like Codabar, Code 128, 39 or 93, EAN, that are 1D type, as well as PDF417, GS1 DataMatrix or QR Code, which are the 2D type. You can also create codes in the format of those used by some companies, such as USPS, SwissPost, Royal Mail, Singapore Post or Telepen.

For each code type, ByteScout BarCode Generator shows a short description about the encoding and the characters it supports so you can know which one is the right option for you.

Simple layout and multiple design options

From the left pane, where all the types of available barcodes are displayed, you can select the one you want to generate. Then, you need to specify a value and with a single click generate the code that you can preview at the bottom side of the window.

ByteScout BarCode Generator offers you the possibility to customize your codes even more. You can specify additional text that is displayed above or below the code, add checksum and you can even choose the value of the code to be displayed or not.

Another feature the utility provides you is support to adjust the size of the barcode and its margins. You can choose between pixels, millimeters or inches and specify the desired size. Additionally, ByteScout BarCode Generator enables you to rotate the image of your code.

The tool allows you to change the appearance of the barcodes, by modifying background and foreground colors, the fonts of the captions as well as various text renderings and smoothing modes.

At the end of your project, you can save your barcodes as PNG, JPEG, TIFF, BMP or GIF files.
