Since version 1.2.0, the long slider's seeking speed is much faster than old versions, it makes fast jumping through different scenes in the H.264 AVCHD video much easier.

This major improvement is based on our new technology 'smart seek', which was accomplished by our developers after hard optimization. Since long time ago, the mostly experienced difficulty while editing H.264 AVCHD video was: it is very hard to locate the video frame you desired in the H.264 AVCHD movie; after you dragged the mouse wheel, it usually takes too much waiting before the video scene you
wanted to be displayed.

But now, with the help of 'smart seek', you can reveiw and jump to the H.264 AVCHD video scenes as fast as you did to AVI MPEG and other 'simpler' video formats. After you found the scene you needed by the long slider, the short slider will help you to locate every single video frame efficiently. Now, You need not to click the mouse button so many times, step by step dozens(H.264 AVCHD mostly has GOP of more than 33 frames) of frames to your desired one.
Just drag the short slider, each frame will be shown continuously and smoothly. You can decide the cut point very easily and fast.

Stream Fix to ensure a correct output:
Unlike the MPEG2 video streams, the H.264 AVCHD video takes some special elements into its stream structure for playback control. If some video cutter simply chops the H.264 AVCHD video stream apart, then feeds the cut movie into some post-processing pipelines, such as transport stream re-multiplexing, Blue Ray disk authorizing; then, there may(even must) arise the problems of green glitch, mozaic, or audio/video in-sync.

The inner stream-fix function will solve such kind of problems. It was done automatically during the process of video transcoding.

Godfazer is an Advanced Modulation Unit which features one Ensemble and two Multi Filter modules. The Ensemble offers a wide range of delay- and amplitude-modulating vintage device emulations, including BBD-based choruses, Solina-style ensembles and rotary speakers, as well as a variety of original tremolos, auto-panners and other models (22 in total). Each of the Multi Filters features 40 filter types / models; from dual shelving EQs, low/high/band-pass models and formant filters, to an extensive selection of vintage and modern phasers.

Both Multi Filters can be animated using two shared Modulators. Each of these can animate of cutoff / center frequency using 4 different modulation types:

Static offset to the left and right channels with the Constant Modulator.
LFO generator with tempo sync option, panning and stereo phase shift.
Envelope Follower.
16-step Step sequencer.

Both Modulators are routed independently to each Multi Filter for complex signal blending, and optional polarity of every input. The Multi Filters themselves are configurable for parallel or serial signal flow using six topology options, which also determine the position of the Ensemble within the chain. Godfazer also includes all the standard features of the SilverLine plugin series, including 64-bit internal processing, three quality options for real-time playback and offline rendering, a resizable GUI, and a tagged preset browser.

DynOne has four unique features. You can set minimum and maximum attack and release values for an adaptive compression timing which is dependent on the crest factor, making it sound musical. The last unique feature is that the sidechain input of each band is defined by a variable weighted mix of that particular band versus the other adjacent bands; one weighting slider gives you intuitive control over the sidechain inputs. All of these features are available in an intuitive interface. It allows you to tonalize your sound and fatten it up, all within seconds.

Weighting option to tweak the sidechain input mix for each of the bands. The weighted mix can vary between its own band and a combination of adjacent bands, so it gets closer to a single compressor behaviour.

Save a layout with Independent Page as a Custom Fold Pattern
You can now save a Custom Fold Pattern with a section that includes independent pages. When adding these fold patterns to a Press Run, you will be prompted to set the independent page properties.

Preps can now define subsections (or ribbons) in Custom Fold Patterns. This means that you can use Preps to create a multi-web layout, save it as a custom fold pattern, and then generate a web press run with the custom fold pattern.

New Print menu and Preferences for Job Layout Report
You can now set output defaults for layout reports.

Remove marks through JDF import process
If you are working with Preps templates that have marks already defined on templates/signatures, you now have the ability to remove all existing marks through the JDF import process. You can then use SmartMarks based on marks rules to replace them.

New shortcut keys for inserting a new web and duplicating an existing web

Disconnect Shingling/Bottling rules from Stock (Substrate) resource property
The Auto Shingling and Bottling rules are now defined in Resources > Shingling and Bottling Rules Editor, rather than being defined as a Stock (Substrate) resource property. This means that you no longer need to define multiple Stock (Substrate) resource properties for this purpose. In the new Shingling and Bottling Rules Editor, you will have all the same abilities defined in the Stock (Substrate) resource, plus additional fields to define a range of the Stock (Substrate) paper weight and caliper. An Auto Shingling and Bottling rule will be triggered when a Stock (Substrate) resource that fits the range is specified.

New Profile switch to allow users to enable AutoShingling
You have two ways to apply the Auto Shingling and Bottling rules: manually (in a Job Layout Details dialog box) or automatically.

To apply the rule automatically, in your Preps profile, set -AUTOSHINGLING and -AUTOBOTTLING to YES. When new jobs are created, the Auto Shingling and Auto Bottling will be automatically set in the Job Layout Details dialog box. The default is NO, so that you can control the use of Auto Shingling at a job level, as needed.

New mark capability to allow for marks only on the Preps Job Layout Report
You can now edit a SmartMark setting for placing marks on press runs that allows you to restrict the mark to printing only on the Job layout report. The mark will not print on the production layout.

New collation marks for Mixed Binding styles
When your production includes signatures made up from different binding styles-for example, you have two perfect bound signatures that are made up from three saddle stitched signatures each-you can now use Mixed Binding collation marks. In the example, the perfect bound signatures are the top level and each will get a signature number for the collation mark. The saddle stitched signatures get the same signature number as the parent and a tic line below indicating its number within the parent signature.

Windows 10
Windows 10 is the minimum supported release for NX 1867. The supported versions of Windows 10 are the Professional and Enterprise editions utilizing either the Current Branch for Business (CBB) or Long Term Service Branch (LTSB) update branch. The Current Branch (CB) update option is not supported. Windows 10 is also available for NX 10.0.3 and later versions including NX 1867. Any caveats or special instructions are provided in the SFB announcing support.
Windows 7 and 8.1
Windows 7 has reached the end of life and mainstream support has ended. Windows 8.1 is still supported by Microsoft, but was rarely deployed. These two versions of Windows are no longer supported by NX 1867. Siemens PLM Software has not performed testing on these versions and cannot resolve any issues related to NX 1867 running on these operating systems.
Windows XP and Vista
Windows XP support from Microsoft has ended and Vista was rarely deployed so these two versions of Windows are not supported by NX 1867. Siemens PLM Software has not performed testing on these versions and cannot resolve any issues related to NX 1867 running on these operating systems.

- 64-bit Windows 10 operating system
- 4 GB RAM minimum, 8 GB or 16 GB RAM recommended
- True Color (32-bit) or 16 million colors (24-bit)
- Screen Resolution: 1280 x 1024 or higher, widescreen format
