• We fixed a bug which prevented the Constructor control being called for length-oriented objects in 3D when you inserted the object with several mouse clicks one after the other. (PR 9934390)
• We fixed a crash which occurred in rare cases when you configured the Supermarket with a DataTable if the column Name was not filled in or if the Supermarket already had a previous configuration.

Fixed Bugs of the User Interface Objects
• We fixed a bug of the HTMLReport which prevented that a Frame was shown in a 3D Only model for which you set the size in percent for displaying it in the report.

Fixed Bugs of the Resource Objects
• We enhanced the methods getCreationTable and setCreationTable of the Workerpool.
• We added an optional boolean parameter to the method getCreationTable to which you assign the inheritance state, true meaning inherited, false meaning not inherited.
• You can now assign VOID to the parameter of the method setCreationTable. This activates inheritance of the Worker Creation Table .

Fixed Bugs of the Information Flow Objects
• We fixed a bug of the DataTable. When you filled in a DataTable via SimTalk, the DataTable did not show this. To show the contents of the DataTable it sufficed to click into the DataTable with the mouse or to drag another window over the DataTable.
• We fixed a crash of the DataTable which occurred when you specified a list range in the method copy whose end was located before the beginning.
• We fixed a bug when accessing DataTables via a user-defined column index. The access did not work if the index had the data type string and was computed via a function to which a string constant was passed as the first parameter, for example MyDataTable[to_str("a",i),*y] . (PR 9932841)
• We fixed a bug of the DataTable if it was opened as a dialog. It occurred when you pressed the Del key in a cell of data type length to delete its contents. Plant Simulation entered the value 0 instead though.
• We fixed a bug of the FileInterface. It occurred when you tried to write several strings without explicitly opening the file and when the encoding was set to UTF-8 . In this case the second write command caused an error message.
• We fixed a crash which occurred when you tried to configure the AttributeExplorer in the Class Library.
• We enhanced the behavior of the Teamcenter Interface. You can now configure the installation of the Teamcenter FMS Client Cache (FCC) using environment variables, for example FMS_HOME, in a file that only applies to the Plant Simulation process instead of setting the environment variables system-wide. Consult the online help for ad- ditional information.
• We fixed a bug of the DataLists and DataTables which caused the method writeExcelXMLFile to return VOID instead of true, when the method was successful. (PR 9941352)
• We fixed a bug when parsing arrays in JSON data. if the string to be parsed contained an array whose values were separated with a comma, i.e., if no empty space followed the comma, parsing was canceled with an error message.
• We fixed a crash of arrays of data type JSON. You could declare such arrays although Plant Simulation does not support them. Now Plant Simulation shows an error message while compiling the Method when you declare an array of data type JSON. Use an array of data type JSON instead.
• We fixed a bug of the method copyRangeTo which prevented the contents of an opened DataTable to be updated. (PR 8462453)
• We added the method putAttributeNamesIntoTable for built-in attributes that are computed with a probability distribution.
• We fixed a crash which occurred when you assigned a comment to a Variable class which does not have an origin.
• We fixed display problems of the Tooltips in the Method editor.
• We fixed display problems of Tooltips of Methods in the Frame. Comments that start with // at the beginning of the source code are now correctly displayed.
• We fixed a bug which caused the command Open Location in the Method Editor to execute an Open control if one was defined instead of opening the location of the Method.

Miscellanea
• We fixed a bug which prevented that the path in the title bar of a Frame, which was opened in a window, was updated when you moved it to a different folder in the Class Library. (PR 9934409)
• We made working with libraries easier, which require a user-defined license. You can now drag classes, which have an origin class, from such libraries with Shift+Drag&Drop .
• We fixed a crash which occurred when you called the command User-defined Attributes via the context menu or the ribbon bar for the FileLink and the FileInterface.
• We fixed a bug which prevented that user-defined attributes, which were set to an initial value during a Reset, activated observers.
• We fixed an animation bug of the Turntable which sometimes caused the MU to be animated on the wrong side when the MU was moved from a Conveyor conveying backwards onto the Turntable. (PR 9934407)

Fixed Bugs in 3D
• We increased the maximum Width of the Connector in 3D Only models from 100 to 300.
• We fixed a crash which occurred when you wanted to make the Mu animation path of a Class longer while the active 3D window showed a folder.
• We fixed a bug which prevented converting 3D graphics to Jt with the script xt2jt.bat from working.
• We fixed a bug which caused parts of the file missing when loading some IGES files which had been exported from AutoCAD. (PR 9941932)
• We fixed a crash which occurred when using the function F3DconcatenateRotations. (PR 9947659)
• We fixed a crash which sometimes occurred when you copied an animatable object from a class, which can animate MUs, for example a ParallelStation into a class, which cannot do this, for example a Method.

Fixed Bugs in the Object Libraries
We made the following changes and enhancements in the ExperimentManager.
• We enhanced the behavior. You can now also type in your own names for the experiments.
• We enhanced the behavior. You can now also define input values, for example WorkerPool.creationTable(1).Amount with drag and drop onto the ExperimentManager.
• We merged the protocols on the tab Validation in the dialog Advanced Settings which the buttons Protocol and All Recordings open.
• We fixed a bug which prevented that the Histogram of the DataFit object, which you can open by clicking Show on the tab Fit showed data points near the minimum or the maximum for certain samples. We fixed these bugs of the Value Stream Mapping Library.

• We integrated a check message when a process is controlled by both ScheduleBox and PPS. (PR 9927953)
• We fixed a bug within the Debugger-object which occurred when an already registered Inventory was renamed. (PR 9935506)
• We fixed a seldom bug within the LeadProcess-object when parts were processed multiple times within a rework cycle.
• We fixed Formula errors which could occur when updating the library in combination with renaming objects.
• We implemented a check for recognitions of cycle-model-constellations for the material flow which are not supported.
• We integrated error checks for the Supplier when parameter are given for quantity or interval length of 0 for cyclic product deliveries.
• We fixed a problem when several processes were used with parts per product definitions of > 1 and < 1.
• We fixed a PPS-MRP-error for the constellation when 2 controlled processes are requesting the same product from the same inventory.

Grafcet-Studio is a modern software tool for the Grafcet standard DIN EN 60848, making it easy and fast to draw a Grafcet chart with copy & paste and auto-completion.


Once the Grafcet chart has been designed, it can be tested with the integrated simulator. So, you can check if the Grafcet behaves as desired. During the simulation you can switch inputs on and off and you can watch how the Grafcet logic reacts. For an even more comfortable simulation, you can connect a virtual system with the Grafcet logic.

In addition, Grafcet-Studio offers the possibility to transfer the Grafcet to a device or PLC at the push of a button. The Grafcet logic no longer needs to be manually converted into a program.

Draw/Edit
Draw Grafcet plans according to DIN EN 60848 quickly with copy&paste, auto-complete and templates. Save the Grafcet as an image file and insert it into your document- or send all pages to the printer.

Simulate
Simulate the Grafcet at the push of a button and check if everything works as it should. For easier simulation, NC contacts (normally closed) can be defined - or connect the Grafcet logic with a virtual system in 2D or 3D.

Device
Download the Grafcet to a PLC at the push of a button - without manual programming, including monitoring mode. Now this is possible with Siemens S7-300/400, S7-1200/1500, CODESYS V3 based controls, RaspberryPi, Arduino Due.

Simulation of the Grafcet-logic
Only if you simulate the designed Grafcet chart, you can be sure that the sequence is exactly as you have thought it would be:
Did you always use the correct action type?
Did you always use the correct assignment in the action string?
Did you always use the correct step type?
Did you always use the correct step variable?
Are all transition conditions correct?
Are there no copy/paste errors?
Are somewhere typos in Grafcet terms that lead to misunderstandings.

Simulation with a 2D-scene: PLC-Lab
Grafcet-Studio (all Editions) can connect to PLC-Lab (all Editions) over a software interface. The sensors and actuators of the virtual scene are synchronized with the Grafcet logic. So you can test your Grafcet chart in the same way like the real hardware. Virtual scenes are a MUST HAVE when you have many input and outputs.
PLC-Lab is very flexible and you can build any scene you like.

Simulation with a 3D-scene: Factory I/O
You need Grafcet-Studio Standard-Edition (or better) to connect to Factory-I/O MHJ-Edition or Ulimate-Edition. Factory I/O offers a better visual experience than PLC-Lab but is not as flexible when creating a virtual scene. With PLC-Lab almost every machine can be reproduced in a simplified way. With Factory I/O, you should check if your desired machine can be replicated before buying.

It does this during your brush stroke in a real-time process called Tessimation. This frees you to focus entirely on the look you're trying to achieve.

Dynamesh
DynaMesh is a perfect solution for free-form sculpting because it removes all need for focusing on topological constraints. Change the overall shape of the model by pushing or pulling, adding various pieces of geometry to combine into one, or even remove geometry in a manner similar to what can be done with Boolean operations. Where Sculptris Pro dynamically adjusts the triangles in your mesh as you sculpt, DynaMesh redistributes the model's polygons as quads on command.

Mesh Detailing
Whether created in ZBrush or imported from elsewhere, once you have your base mesh it is time to start detailing. ZBrush features a robust suite of tools to accomplish this. Those listed below are just the tip of the iceberg.

Sculpting Brushes
The main workflow for creating with ZBrush is based on a system of brushes which can also be modulated using pen pressure from a graphics tablet. ZBrush will reproduce the natural feeling of a real paint brush or sculpting tool, using the pressure applied to the pen tip to transform your digital stroke in a variety of ways. There are brushes to pinch, move, build up the surface, chisel into it, slice through the model and much more. You can even use other 3D models as brushes, inserting their geometry into your surface.

Noisemaker
In addition to being able to add detail by hand, ZBrush provides a system for procedurally generating surface detail through noise patterns. Choose a detail type, adjust a few simple parameters, then apply that pattern to your model in its entirety or by restricting it to a certain region. You can even combine different noise types to create highly complex effects. The Noise system is ideal for both hard surface work and organic details.

PolyPaint
Because ZBrush works with tens of millions of polygons in real-time, you can paint directly on the surface of the model without first assigning a texture map or UV's. This offers significant advantages compared to a standard workflow. The resolution of the texture map does not need to be decided in advance. This is particularly valuable if you find you need more detailing on an area than you thought you would. Instead of repainting a new, larger texture map you can simply transfer the existing surface detail to that larger map without any reworking. You don't even need to do UV unwrapping before you begin this painting. In fact, thanks to the way that ZBrush can project details (both sculpted and painted) from one model to another you can have a fully painted model before you even have a finalized animation mesh. Instead, you can copy everything to the final base mesh once it has been signed off on.

UV Master
In order create or use a texture map, a model first needs UV's. These are 2D coordinates that tell all 3D applications how to apply a texture to your model. With most programs, creating those UV's has been a time consuming challenge that requires a high level of technical expertise and has little room for creativity. With UV Master you are able to create very efficient UV's for your model - in most cases with a single click. If you need more control over this automatic process there are features that refine where seams will be placed or increase the amount of pixel space given to certain regions of your model. It's both intuitive and fast, letting you get back to being creative with minimal fuss.

Rendering
Whether you are using ZBrush by itself as an illustration tool or as part of a production pipeline for animation, you will at some point want to show your work to others. ZBrush makes this possible through a powerful rendering system called BPR (Best Preview Render).

• This module is designed for primary data processing.
