Process Lasso is a unique new technology that will, amongst other things, improve your PCs responsiveness and stability. Windows, by design, allows programs to monopolize your CPU without restraint - leading to freezes and hangs. Process Lassos ProBalance (Process Balance) technology intelligently adjusts the priority of running programs so that badly behaved or overly active processes won't interfere with your ability to use the computer!

Process Lasso also offers an assortment of ways to take full control of how your CPUs are allocated to running programs. If you need to send sensitive data over the Internet you should encrypt it first. But what about the other side? The recipient will probably not like the idea of buying and learning some software just to decrypt your file. No problem here if you are using Silver Key.

Right-click the file or folder you wish to send and select the "Create EXE Parcel" command. Silver Key compresses and encrypts your data and adds a small decryptor program. Your correspondent does not need to install any decrypting program because the parcel already contains all the needed software.

If your demands are higher, you can use the Silver Key Parcel Designer to create more advanced encrypted parcels. You can add encrypted and unencrypted comments, create shortcuts on the target computer, request opening a file after decryption, and even include an uninstaller.

Context menu integration encrypt, decrypt, and generate key files

This software utility inserts a few entries in the Windows Explorer context menu. To be more precise, they will enable you to shred files, as well as create a simple or EXE parcel.

When encrypting files, you are required to provide their paths with the help of a file browser, and you can also show the contents of a specified TXT as an unencrypted description. Source items can be shredded after encryption, and it is possible to establish the number of passes, with the help of a slider bar.

The program can also help you generate a random cryptographically strong binary key and store it as a key file (KF format) to a custom location to the hard drive, with or without a comment string.

The computer's performance is not going to be affected in any way, as CPU and memory usage is kept at a low level at all times, regardless of the process under way.
