Improvements

-Postprocessing - Thanks to Downie's new video analysis, the postprocessing for HLS downloads now takes seconds instead of minutes.
-History - History window is now extended and includes icon previews.
-Quality Selection - Rewritten automatic quality selection so that highest resolution gets always picked.
-Support - Ability to send a generic bug report right from the app.
-User-Guided Extraction - The User-Guided Extraction has been much improved, highlights more probable downloads, displays details about proposed downloads and can hide the sidebar.
-Memory Management - After launch, Downie takes about 10-20MB less memory, the User-Guided Extraction memory cleanup is improved, the Login Browser uses a new generation of web browser on macOS 10.13 or later.
-Memory Management 2 - Processing YouTube (and some other) links uses considerably less memory.
-... and many, many other minor fixes and improvements.

A Hot-Fix is a software maintenance package containing a small number of code fixes, designed to fix a small number of critical problems.
About Hot-Fix. A Hot-Fix enables a customer to receive fixes for urgent problems, without having to wait for the next service pack. Unlike the General Availability (GA) and Service Pack (SP) levels, which are scheduled, periodic releases, Hot-Fix releases are not periodically scheduled. Simply requesting a Hot-Fix does not automatically guarantee that the customer will receive it: all Hot-Fix requests first must be approved and accepted by Dassault Systemes prior to delivery. Furthermore, a Hot-Fix may contain fixes related to problems reported earlier by different customers. All the files included in the Hot-Fix will nevertheless be installed.
About V5-6R2015 release. This release builds-up on its previous release - 2014x. The 2015x release focus has been on enhancing the existing support for 12 industry segments and to improve the user experience capabilities for both on premise and cloud offering.
User interface developments include touch-friendly, easily customizable interface and toolbars. The developers have also worked on improving the quick loading of large sessions. R2015x also maintains DS continued commitment towards compatibility and synchronization between V5 and V6.
The notable industry updates include:
- Transportation and mobility industry professionals can benefit from over 250 new capabilities - such as composites braiding and ability to openly exchange models
- Engineering and construction industries can benefit from realistic 3D models of ground and underground
- Life sciences professionals can address collaborative authoring and engineering of biological entities and pathways
One of the new features in R2015x is the groupings of applications called roles. These roles are designed to cover the activities that users may need to accomplish a certain set of activities specific to an industry. Examples of roles include: creative designer, project manager, stress analysis engineer or process planner. In R2015x, there are 219 roles on premise, 115 roles on public cloud and 115 roles on private cloud.
Dassault Systèmes' claims that all of its cloud customers were successfully and seamlessly upgraded to R2015x within a few hours and over the whole scope of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, including design and engineering, 3D design, IP governance and lifecycle, simulation and manufacturing, making it the largest cloud portfolio in the market.
