Cold Turkey Blocker is designed to be easy to configure for your specific needs. You can set it to block anything from a specific webpage to the entire Internet. You can also allow exceptions, block applications, or even use it to lock yourself out of your computer!

Difficult to Circumvent
Other distraction blockers are too easy to circumvent. People use Cold Turkey Blocker because once you start a block, there's no easy way out. By default, timers are locked until your timer is up. The weekly recurring schedule can be locked until a certain time as well.

Start a timer
Pick when you'd like the block to end, then start the timer by flipping the switch. By default, Cold Turkey Blocker will lock the timer to prevent changes. You can change this behaviour for future timers in the 'Settings' tab.

Statistics
There's no need to guess where you spend your time. Enable the statistics feature to keep track of your biggest time wasters. None of the data collected is sent off of your computer.

You can also perform compression functions from the Command Line Interface with much more flexibility and functionality than the Windows Compact command.

We've added new methods of defragmenting your hard drive such as being able to divide your drive into virtual zones. More ways to select files for high performance
We have further enhanced High Performance and Archive file selection options so that now there is literally no limit in the combination of files you choose for High Performance and archive.

Fragmented Files Explorer
Is a very powerful way of selecting and sorting files for defragmentation. You can browse and sort the fragmented files on your hard drive 10 ways and you can select and defragment a select a group of files. For example you may only want to select and defragment the files you used in the past 7 days. Just sort the list, click and then select Defragment Now. Only those files will be defragmented.

The Absolute Easiest Way Ever To Defragment Files In A Folder!
Just go to Command Prompt. Navigate to a folder/directory. Enter the command UltimateDefrag *.* and every file in the folder/directory will be defragmented. Usually in just a minute or two. For subdirectories/subfolders just enter UltimateDefrag *.*\ and all files in all subdirectories will be defragmented. For users who are familiar with creating batch files, you could create a batch file that runs daily in a schedule to defragment all the files in your Windows Directory to keep your Windows tuned for fastest performance - all of the time! You could do the same for your Program Files folder etc etc.

Just installed some new software? Go into its folder and enter the command UltimateDefrag *.*\ and in a few moments your new program will be defragmented and ready to run with better performance right from the word go. Many PC users have no idea that installing new software installs it with many, sometimes tens of thousands, of fragments.

Of course you can also use the UltimateDefrag main program or even within Windows just right click on a folder to defragment from right within Windows Explorer itself.

Need to chip away at a large badly fragmented drive?
If you have a large 4 Tb drive with millions of fragments and don't want to try to defragment it all at once (which could take many hours), you can set UltimateDefrag to defragment for any amount of time .e.g 1 hour and then exit the program. So before you shut down your PC for the day, you can start the defragmentation run, set UltimateDefrag to run for 1 hour and then have it exit the program and put your computer to sleep. Just do this everyday for a few days and your drive will eventually be completely defragmented and performing as fast as it should be.

Processor and Memory:
Processor equivalent to a Pentium IV @ 800 MHz with 128 MB RAM should be sufficient for running BioWin. Simulation speed is directly related to clock speed and system memory (memory is especially important for longer term dynamic simulations).

Recommend: 1GB memory is usually sufficient for most configurations (for very large, or very long term simulations more memory may be required). In the absence of memory limitations processor speed has the biggest impact on simulation speed - a general rule the faster the processor, the better.

BioWin does not take advantage of more than one core. However, a modern dual-core processor will still out perform an older single-core processor. If you are considering an upgrade, the dual-core processors from Intel and AMD are the best choice."

Disk Space:
On most new machines disk space is unlikely to be a limitation - a full BioWin install takes less than 100 MB. It should be remembered however that long term simulations can generate lots of data, so BioWin files of these simulations can be quite large.

Screen Size:
BioWin displays some large dialog boxes, and consequently a minimum display resolution of 1024X786 is required.
Recommend: BioWin has extensive graphical output so higher resolution graphics cards and monitors are recommended. If graphical output is shown during the simulations then the simulation speed may also be affected by the graphics card speed and memory.

Reporting software:
BioWin can generate a report in Microsoft Word, however this feature requires Microsoft Word 2000 or higher.

This collection Combines all 8 Kosmology Releases and modernizes the Kosmology Instruments whilst also adding 8 Cassetto Based Instruments which further utilize the sample collections.

Analog - The sound of the Elektron Analog Four has entered the world of Kosmology. Even though the instruments are more on the experimental side compared to the previous Kosmology Releases, the end result is a quite surprisingly mellow sample set, filled with lots of movement and discovery when sequencing. These Instruments were designed specifically for use with Kosmology to bring some of the warmth and characteristics from the excellent sounding Analog Synthesizer, which has it's own very distinct character.

Awakenings - the intention was to design sounds which were capable of producing Synth Pop and Electro such as Grimes, Depeche Mode and Kraftwerk. They were produced with Wave Sequencing in mind to provide a rich palette to build rhythms with, and contain enough movement to be good for sequencing the Start Offset.

Dissonance - 200 wild, boisterous and clangy samples to discover crazy loops whilst Wave/Sample Start Sequencing. This collection is perfect for creating endless unique loops for use in all genres of Electronic Music.

Elementary - Whilst the trend nowadays is towards Analog Emulation, Elementary takes the opposite route and brings 467 'cheap' digital instruments into Kosmology. After initial tests it was found that these sounds bring a fantastic clarity, and for Wave Sequencing an excellent range of Timbres which work together extremely well! This is the largest Kosmology release yet with more than twice the instruments included in previous releases, and to get this number and keep the memory consumption down, they are limited to two multi-samples per instrument.

Evolution - designed using a DSI Evolver and takes advantage of both the Analog and the Digital side of this amazing instrument. All sounds were created from scratch for this collection and definitely bring the Evolver's unique 'sound' into Kosmology for Sequencing Fun.

Fusion - The Fusion Sample Collection was designed using a Dave Smith Instruments Mopho, capturing it's aggressive analog sound to the full. It's a very interesting addition to the Kosmology Collection and has a very different feel to all of the other releases.

Lumin - Lumin provides 200 multi-sampled Instruments designed and created with UHE Bazille and Waldorf Largo to provide a solid sounding instrument collection to feed the Kosmology script. Within Kosmology the sound of these two synths compliment each other very well when Wave Sequencing.

Space - In contrast to previous Kosmology Releases, Space is a more ambient soundset, the filter is less open and the instruments have been softened & effected.

Kosmology - The Script
Kosmology is an Advanced Performance Sequencing Tool. In a nutshell you build up to 8 instances which can be switched and manipulated by a series of triggers in real-time. Each Instance contains a Pitch Sequencer, Velocity sequencer, 5 freely assignable Sequencers (from a list of 46 Destinations) and 48 Synth Parameters. Each Instance can have completely different settings and assignments, which gives an enormous amount of freedom for creating unique grooves.

The LayoutEditor is a general editor for layout designs and schematics in all areas like micro electronics, MEMS, nano electronic. It works internally with the GDSII file format the most common file format in this area and has import/export features to nearly any file format existing in the area.

The LayoutEditor project was started in 2004 as an Open Source project. It become very popular. So in 2009 the company behind the LayoutEditor named juspertor was founded and commercial support was established. The general Windows installer package will run on Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 10 etc. It will not run on Windows XP. Until release 2ß180129 a package for Windows XP was available. The Windows XP package will also run on Vista and Windows 7. All packages exists for 32 bit systems as well as for 64 bit systems.

All packages will need the Microsoft's VCruntime library for the correct C++ version. If it is not present, the installer will install is automatic on most system. However on Windows 7 it may fail to detect it. In that case, please install it by hand. Also if you use the zip package, you need to install it manual. The correct version is included in the zip package under 3rd-Party folder. Both Microsoft's VCruntime packages are need to to run the LayoutEditor.

The installer will add an entry for the LayoutEditor in the start menu. For the zip package you had to start the LayoutEditor with a double click on the LayoutEditor.bat file from the file manager.
